Bhai Hawara requests Sikh bodies to form an “executive committee” to uphold status of Akal Takht Sahib

Chandigarh: Advocate Amar Singh Chahal, counsel of Bhai Jagtar Singh Hawara, said that  Panthic organisations have been requested by Bhai Jagtar Singh Hawara to appoint an “executive committee”.

“Bhai Jagtar Singh Hawara was appointed as Jatehdar of Akal Takhat Sahib by the organizers of the Sarbat Khalsa 2015. Jathedar Hawara has been urging the Panthic organizations to resolve the differences and show unity for panthic cause” said Advocate Amar Singh Chahal.

He said that Bhai Jagtar Singh Hawara had asked Panthic organizations to nominate members in order to form an “executive committee” to uphold the dignity and maryada of the Akal Takhat Sahib.

“Many Sikh organizations of Canada, America and England have nominated pathic personalities for the executive committee, however, the call has evoked much lesser response from Punjab based Panthic bodies and the Punjab based Sikh sangat” said Advocate Chahal.

Advocate Chahal requested Sikh sangat and Panthic bodies to sent him the proposed names at #15, Sector 8A, Chandigarh or Gurdwara Sahib, Shahpur, Sector 38-B, Chandigarh.
