Sikh groups release Nanakshahi calendar in Frankfurt (Germany)

Frankfurt: Local committee of Gurudwara Sikh Center Frankfurt organized a Gurmat Samagam dedicated to ‘Khalsa Pragat Dihara’ in which Sikh from various places participated in this samagam.
Kirtani Jatha of Bhai Amrik Singh Kathiali, Hazoori Ragi of Sri Darbar Sahib, recited Gurbani Kirtan and Dhadi Jatha of Bhai Gurdial Singh Lakhpur shared history of the Khalsa day.
Original version of Nanakshahi Calendar released by Sikh bodies at Frankfurt
Sikh sangat raises hands in support of Original Nanakshahi Calendar
Various Sikh groups of Frankfurt rejected recent amendments in Nanakshahi Calendar. They released ‘original’ (unamended) version of Nanakshahi calendar on this occasion.
Bhai Kamaljit Singh Rai of Management Committee shared his greetings with the Sikh sangat on this occasion.
Sikh Federation Germany leader Bhai Gurdial Singh Lali in his address to the Sikh sangat, said that Nanakshahi calendar was symbol of distinct Sikh identity. He said that recent amendments in Nanakshahi Calendar were aimed at amalgamation of Nanakshahi Calendar with Bikrami Calendar.
