Paramjit Singh Mand and Gagandeep Singh the organizers of the march while speaking with media said the said film has the depiction of Guru Nanak Sahib in animation and members of his family in human form, which was intolerable.

“This is an antithesis of fundamental beliefs of Sikhism and a clear violation of the monotheistic nature of the Sikh religion” said they.

There can be no comprises on this position. This movie has hurt the Sikh sentiments and forced us to come onto the streets, said they.

Another student leader Harjot Singh said as Islam prohibits the publication of imagery of Hazrat Mohammad Sahib so does the Sikhism strictly prohibits the portrayal of Guru Sahib and their immediate family members.
