Sikh Youth to Manage Affairs of Gurdwara Dashmesh Darbar in Surrey

Surrey, Canada: The management of Gurdwara Dashmesh Darbar in Surrey (Canada) is handed over to the Sikh youth. A meeting of directors of the Gurdwara management committee was held today and various Panthic were reportedly discussed. The directors unanimously decided to handover the management of the Gurdwara Sahib to youth leadership for next two years.

Canada born Moninder Singh (37) was unanimously elevated as ‘Mukh Sewadar’ (President) of the management committee of Gurdwara Dashmesh Darbar, Surrey. Manjit Singh Dhammi is selected as General Secretary of the committee.

Moninder Singh has been working in the youth circles for past few years and holds a strong base in the younger sections of the Sikh diaspora.
