Singapore: Sikhs in Singapore are going to hold a four-day Gurmat Samagam to mark the 350th Parkash Gurpurab of Guru Gobind Singh Ji.
As per the local media reports more than 20,000 Sikhs from Singapore and Asia are expected to attend the “Naam Ras Kirtan Darbar”, a biennial Gurmat Samagam being held since 2002.
The Samagam will also have an exhibition of artefacts, including a miniature replica the Darbar Sahib, Amritsar.
A live feed will be streamed on Facebook for people who are unable to attend this four day festival, which begins today and is there till Monday, the report said.
The festival is being organised by almost 200 volunteers, and is one of the largest Sikh gathering outside South Asia.
