Simranjit Singh Mann Wants GoI to Allow Sikhs to Build Memorial for Shaheed Beant Singh in Delhi

Jalandhar: Shiromani Akali Dal Amritsar (Mann) president and former Member Parliament Simranjit Singh Mann has demanded that the government of India should allow Sikhs to build a memorial for Shaheed Beant Singh at Safdarjung Road in Delhi.

Addressing a press conference at Jalandhar, Simranjit Singh Mann said that SADA (M) will observe martyrdom day of Shaheed Beant Singh on October 31. He called upon Sikhs to reach Gurdwara Rakabganj Sahib on October 31 to observe the Shaheedi Day.
He reiterated his demand that the GoI should allow Sikhs to build a memorial Gurdwara Sahib at Safdarjung Road on two Kanal land. He said that Shaheed Beant Singh is hero for the Sikhs and Indian government should fulfil their desire to build memorial for him.
