Talwandi Sabo: Shiromani Akali Dal Amritsar (Mann) chief S. Simranjit Singh Mann said that he would take three steps – climbing to the water tanks, crossing over to Pakistan and seek political asylum there and then perform self immolation to protest against Sukhbir Badal’s continous refusal to hold talks with the organizers of November 10 Sikh gathering at Talwandi Sabo termed as “Sarbat Khalsa 2016” by the organizers.
Talking to media persons at Talwandi Sabo, S. Simranjit Singh Mann said that the police have unleashed crackdown on the organizers and supporters of the Nov. 10 Sikh gathering and raids were being conducted to arrest them.
S. Mann said that it was their constitutional right to hold such gatherings. He said that if Sukhbir Badal and Punjab DGP continue with their arrogant attitude then they would be responsible for extreem steps to be taken by him.
He condemned the arrest of Resham Singh California from IGI Airport.

Speaking to the media persons Bhai Baljit Singh Daduwal said that S. Simranjeet Singh Mann has expressed the feelings of the entire Sikh nation and the government should take it seriously.
Bhai Dhian Singh Mand appealed to the masses to take part in Nov. 10 gathering in large numbers. He said that the event would be conducted in a peaceful manner as it was held last year at village Chabba near Tarn Taran.
