Sohrabuddin Fake Encounter Case: Another Witness Turn Hostile, Takes Count to 45

Mumbai: As per media reports another prosecution witness in Sohrabuddin Shaikh fake encounter case turned hostile on Monday. Notably, 45 prosecution witnesses have turned hostile in this case in which BJP chief Amit Shah was given clean chit by a court in a questionable manner.

The witnesses who turned hostile this time was a school teacher who had in 2010 assisted the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) India in translating statements given by eyewitnesses on the abduction of Sohrabuddin, his wife Kausarbi and associate Tulsiram Prajapati from a bus on November 23, 2005. Two of those eyewitnesses has turned hostile in December 2017 claiming that they did not see any co-passenger on the bus being abducted by the policemen.
Notably, it is the same case that was being heard by Justice Loya who had died under mysterious circumstances on December 1, 2014.
