Mumbai/Chandigarh (August 30, 2012): In a strange move actor-producer Ajay Devgn has come out in defence of his upcoming film “Son Of Sardaar” saying that the content of the film projects the Sikh community in a positive manner and it will not hurt anyone's sentiment.
Chandigarh (August 29, 2012): Actor-producer Ajay Devgn's upcoming movie “Son of Sardar” in which he playing lead role of a Sikh character, is striking controversies – one after another. Two weeks back a Chandigarh based lawyer – Advocate Navkiran Singh, slammed a legal notice to Ajay Devgn demanding removal of objectionable parts from his movie that shows up Sikhs in bad light.
Changidhar/Punjab (August 26, 2012): The term granted by legal notice to Ajay Devgan has expired and the actor-producer has failed to respond to the objections raised by Advocate Navkiran Singh, a Chandigarh based human rights lawyer regarding his upcoming movie titled "Son of Sardar".
In your upcoming film SON OF SARDAR You have shown in some parts Sikh's in a bad light. I am mentioning about the contents available to the public through the official trailer exhibited by you on the You Tube which contains comment that like "If Sikh's were not there then who would have invented abuses like....Teree Maan Dee - Teree Bhain Dee".
