Atrocities on the Dalits are on the rise in the Indian sub-continent. In a heinous incident of caste motivated hate crimes, the skin of the head of a Dalit leader of the Bahujan Samaj Party was peeled off allegedly by some villagers in Madhya Pradesh’s Shivpuri district, police said Tuesday (Sept. 12).
