Shiromani Gurdwara Prabandhak Committee chief Avtar Singh Makkar has “warned” action against supporters of separate SGPC for Sikh Gurdwaras of Haryana. He said that such move will be "directly challenging" Akal Takht, said a media report on Saturday.

After playing Akal Takhat authority card to stop Haryana Sikh leaders from putting efforts to form separate SGPC for Haryana Sikh Gurdwaras, SGPC president Avtar Singh Makkar on Thursday appealed Haryana Sikhs not to participate in Sikh convention at Kaithal on July 6.
