According to Punjabi Tribune, a vernacular published from Chandigarh, he lost two kilo-grams weight in last 24 hours.

It is notable that Bhai Gurbaksh Singh has been on continuous hunger strike protest since November 14, 2013 demanding the release of 6 Sikh political prisoners who have completed their sentences.
New Delhi, India (December 22, 2013): According to a news reported by The Hindu: [a] complaint by the Sikh rights group, Sikhs for Justice (SFJ), on release of Sikh political prisoners from Indian Jails after expiry of their term has been forwarded by the U.N. Assistant Secretary General for Human Rights to the U.N. Working Group on Arbitrary Detentions.
Brampton, Canada (December 22, 2013): According to information sent to the Sikh Siyasat News (SSN) by Coalition of Sikh Organizations (on December 19):- "[s]peaking to a crowd of over 1200 attendees with standing room filled to capacity, Gurbaksh Singh Khalsa shared a message peace and justice, as his health continues to dwindle".
