Chandigarh, India (February 03, 2014): According to information available with the Sikh Siyasat News (SSN) Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) has refused to grant clearance certificate to Punjabi movie Kaum De Heere.
Chandigarh/ Punjab (October 26, 2013): Punjabi movie Sadda Haq that was based on post-1984 to mid-1990s events in Punjab had faced much trouble to get released in India, but it was not successful in securing requisite certificate that is required to show a film on TV channels in India.
Chandigarh, Haryana (May 15, 2013): As per media reports the Haryana government lifted ban on the screening of blockbuster Punjabi film "Sadda Haq" in the state on May 15, 2013.
New Delhi, India (January 18, 2013): As per information available with Sikh Siyasat News (SSN) “Sadda Haq” Punjabi movie that was banned by Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) was reviewed by Film Certification Appellate Tribunal (FCAT) on January 16, 2013.
