Antim Sanskar of Sikh activist Gurbaksh Singh Khalsa was held at his native village Thaska Ali in Kurukshetra district on Sunday (March 25).
The family members of Gurbaksh Singh Khalsa along with representatives of Sikh bodies yesterday agreed to hold Antim Sanskar of dead body of Bhai Gurbash Singh Khalsa.
A team of Sikh Siyasat News (SSN) visited the village Thaska Ali on March 21 and talked to the natives who said that the police action had forced Gurbaksh Singh to jump off the water tank.

Sikh activist Gurbaksh Singh Khalsa yesterday evening jumped off a water tank situated his village Thaskali where he had started hunger strike seeking release of Sikh political prisoners.
It is learnt that Sikh activist Gurbaksh Singh Khalsa today jumped off the water tank. He was seeking release of Sikh political prisoners who have already completed the minimum mandatory terms of their sentences.
It is learnt that Gurbaksh Singh Thaska Ali today visited Hasanpur (Ludhiana) to meet fasting Sikh activist Bapu Surat Singh Khalsa. As per reports Sikh sangat present at Bapu Surat Singh's house opposed his and accused him for betraying the cause of Sikh political prisoners.
Sikh activist Gurbaksh Singh who observed hunger strike from November 14, 2014 till January 09, 2015, formally finished off his hunger strike yesterday (Jan. 15) after taking a glass of fruit juice from the hands of some Delhi Sikh Gurdwara Management Committee (DSGMC) officials.
Delhi police has released three Sikh activists, who were detained today after they had started hunger strike at Jantar mantar seeking release of Sikh political prisoners. It is notable that after Gurbaksh Singh Khalsa’s family volunteered for his hospitalization in Ambala on January 09, the Haryana police and management committee of Gurdwara Lakhnaur Sahib asked Gurbkash Singh Khalsa’s associates to leave premises.
