As almighty fulfilled his one of two wishes that he wanted to die as Sikh, the two time Bahujan Smaj Party MP and close aide of late Babu Kanshi Ram, Harbhajan Singh Khalsa (Laakha) passed away on Wednesday with his fulfilled wish. He had taken Amrit on June 6, 2014 at Akal Takhat along with 14 of his supporters.
After famous singer KS Makhan’s induction to Sikhism after being baptized, a two time Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) MP and a close aide of late veteran BSP leader Babu Kanshi Ram, Harbhajan Lakha, took Amrit by Panj Pyaras (Five beloveds of Guru) at Sri Akal Takht Sahib on the 30th anniversary of June 1984 Sikh massacre. After he was inducted to the Sikh Panth, his name was changed to Harbhajan Singh Khalsa.
