UK reassure Sikh delegation to take up Prof. Bhullar death penalty case with India

London, United Kingdom (August 08, 2013): As per certain media reports a British foreign office minister (on August 06, 2013) told Sikhs that UK will ask India to drop the death penalty against Prof. Devender Pal Singh Bhullar. Hugo Swire, Britain's minister for India in the foreign office, reportedly met Sikh representatives with Lord Indarjit Singh of Wimbledon and discussed the case of Prof. Bhullar who is facing death penalty in India in a highly contested and controversial conviction.
