Amritsar, Punjab (March 11, 2014): Dal Khalsa leader Kanwar Pal Singh fired a salvo against Punjab government for going ahead to build memorial in memory of soldiers of 1857 mutiny despite knowing the fact that these soldiers were at one time part of British army, participated in Anglo-Sikh war and worked against the interest of Punjab and Sikhs.

The organization said by engaging in a diatribe against each other both the leaders were exonerating and diminishing the acts and misdeeds of the real perpetrator (Indian state) of June and November 1984 painful episodes.
