A three-day seminar was held at Mastuana Sahib under the banner of Akal College Council and various Sikh organizations, focusing on the ideology, structure, and rejuvenation of the "Shiromani Akali Dal."
A three-day intellectual conference focused on redefining the Shiromani Akali Dal’s structure, policy and political direction concluded on Sunday (3 August) at Mastuana Sahib (Sangrur).

In a brief update, the Shiromani Akali Dal (Badal) led by former Punjab Deputy CM Sukhbir Singh Badal said that "S. Karnail Singh Panjoli has been expelled from the primary membership of the Shiromani Akali Dal for a period of 6 years".
