After Haryana Sikh leaders including Jagdish Singh Jhinda, Didar Singh Nalvi and four others did not appear at Akal Takhat to discuss matter of separate SGPC for Sikh Gurdwaras of Haryana on July 2, 2014 and sought four more days, Akal Takhat Jathedar Giani Gurbachan Singh formed a 10 member committee to dialogue with Sikh leaders of Haryana.
A day after SGPC president Avtar Singh Makkar indicated that captain Amrinder Singh and Harmohinder Singh Chattha might be summoned by Akal Takhat Jathedar, Akal Takht jathedar Giani Gurbachan Singh on Tuesday asked the leaders of rival factions of ad hoc Haryana Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee (HSGPC) Didar Singh Nalvi and Jagdish Singh Jhinda along with four others to meet him at the Akal Takht at 11 am on July 2 and discuss the issue of separate SGPC for Haryana.
Haryana CM Hooda might make the announcement on or before July 6 when he is scheduled to attend the Sikh Mahasamellan convened by the ah hoc Haryana Sikh Gurdwara Prabandhak Committee (HSGPC) at Kaithal.
