The election process for the Takht Sri Harmandir Ji, Patna Sahib Prabandhak Committee is currently underway. The Sikh Collective has raised serious concerns over large-scale discrepancies in the electoral roll, including the presence of 287 non-Sikh voters in an electoral college comprising a total of 3,637 voters.
Sikh religious Jorh-Melas once carried a deep spiritual and religious fervor. The recitation of Gurbani, Kirtan, the narration of Sikh history through Dhadi, Kavishari, Katha, and Kavi Darbars, along with Sewa and meaningful discussions among Sikh jathas on vital issues, formed the core of these sacred gatherings.
