Davos, Switzerland (January 24, 2013): As per recent infroamtion the Attorney General of Switzerland has docketed {SV 13.0090-BOL} a criminal case against Indian Minister Kamal Nath who is leading India’s delegation to attend World Economic Forum Annual Meeting-2013 being held in Davos, Switzerland on the complaint of Sikh rights groups.
Switzerland (January 18, 2013): Ahead of Kamal Nath’s trip to Switzerland right groups “Sikhs For Justice” (SFJ) and a Swiss NGO “Movement Against Atrocities & Repression” (MAR) filed a preliminary indictment with Attorney General of Switzerland urging prosecution of Nath for his role in genocide of Sikhs during November 1984.
New York, United States (January 15, 2013): After Judge Randa unexpectedly disqualified himself pursuant to 28 U.S.C. § 455(a) and (b), from presiding over the human rights violation case against Badal, Judge Lynn Adelman of the US Federal District Court of Wisconsin held a preliminary status conference on January 14 with attorneys from both sides.

New York, United States (December 28, 2012): The US Department of State has weighed in favor of CM Badal in the pending human rights violation lawsuit before the Federal Court of Wisconsin. The Special agents from the Diplomatic Security Service of the US Department of State have submitted sworn statements to the US court claiming that Badal was not served with the summons. This unprecedented move of the US Department of State has undermined the prospects of Badal being answerable before the US Court for commanding a police force that tortured Sikhs in Punjab. Earlier, US State Department has given immunity to Pakistan’s ISI and its chiefs Ahmed Shuja Pasha and Nadeem Taj in a lawsuit filed by the relatives of Mumbai 26/11 tragedy.

New York, USA (December 07, 2012): A petition with more than 25,000 signatures demanding recognition of November 1984 Sikh Genocide will go before Obama administration on December 15. As per the current US Government Policy, a petition requires 25000 signatures to warrant an official response. The petition urges the Obama administration to fulfill its obligation under Article 1 of the UN Convention on Genocide by recognizing the November 1984 as “Sikh Genocide”.

Sydney (Australia October 29, 2012): 28 Years after the organized and systematic killing of Sikhs in India, Honorable Warren Entsch, an Australian Federal Member of Parliament will present a “Genocide Petition” before Australian Parliament.
