Haryana, India (November 12, 2013): Haryana Sikh Gurdwara Prabandhak Committee (HSGPC) (ad-hoc) has announced to campaign against the Congress in the run-up to the elections to the state assembly and Lok Sabha next year. The HSGPC was formed by some members of the Shiromani Gurudwara Prabhandak Committee (SGPC) and some other local Sikh leaders from Haryana with a view to have a separate Gurdwara management panel for the state of Haryana. SGPC is a statutory body that manages the affairs of historic Sikh Gurdwaras in the states of Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh and Himachal Pardesh.
