Hunger strike of Gurbaksh Singh Khasla continues; Lost 12 kgs in 19 days

The organizers of Bandi Singhs Rihai Morcha (Lakhnaur Sahib, Ambala) informed that Bhai Gurbaksh Singh Khalsa has completed 19th day of his hunger strike and he will continue with his indefinite hunger strike till seven Sikh political prisoners, who release is being demanded by the morcha, are permanently released.

Bhai Gurmit Singh released from Burail Jail on 28 days parole

Chandigarh: Sikh political prisoner Bhai Gurmit Singh was reportedly released yesterday from Chandigarh Model Jail (Burail) on 28 days parole. Bhai Gurmit Singh came out of jail at. around 7:45 pm. He was received outside the jail by his mother Mata Surjit Kaur, sisters Manjit Kaur and Varinder Kaur, Sikh leader Bhai Harpal Singh Cheema, Kumikar Singh, Bibi Kulbir Kaur Dhami (Guru Asra Trust), Gurcharan Singh and Surjit Singh.

Chandigarh: Bhai Gurbaksh Singh Khalsa has renewed his pledge to secure the release of Sikh political prisoners who have completed their prison terms. Gurbaksh Singh Khalsa reportedly submitted a memorandums to Punjab chief minister Parkash Singh Badal and Governor Shivraj Patil on Wednesday (Oct. 01) seeking their intervention in the matter. Delhi HC directs medical treatment of Bhai Jagtar Singh Hawara at AIIMS
