Sikhs across Europe visit Wolverhampton for 10,000-strong conference

Birmingham, United Kingdom (September 23, 2013): Accotding to a news reported by BBC "[m]ore than 10,000 Sikhs have gathered in Wolverhampton to mark the 10th anniversary of the Sikh Federation". The group was set up a decade ago to "give Sikhs a stronger political voice", said Amrik Singh, chair of the federation.

London, United Kingdom (September 21, 2013): It is learnt that the sentencing of three Sikhs convicted of carrying out an attack on Indian army's retired Lt Gen Kuldip Brar was postponed to next month by a British court on September 19, 2013.

Three Sikhs convicted by London court over Kuldip Brar’s stabbing

London, United Kingdom (July 31, 2013): As per recent media reports three Sikhs, who were charged with assaulting and hurting Kuldip Singh Brar have been convicted. Trio have been reportedly convicted for causing grievous bodily harm to Kuldip Brar, former Indian Army officer who had led a deadly attach on Sri Darbar Sahib (Amritsar) in June 1984, India.
