New Delhi, India (January 11, 2013): As per information the trial in a November 1984 Sikh massacre case against Indian politician of Congress Party- Sajjan Kumar and others began in a Delhi court in New Delhi on January 10.
New Delhi, India (August 01, 2013): It is learnt that a Delhi court, which was to set the date for commencement of trial in a 1984 Sikh Genocide case against Sajjan Kumar and four others on July 30, deferred the matter to August 13, following the death of one of the accused in the case.
New Delhi, India (July 16, 2013): It is learnt that the Delhi High Court on July 17, 2013 dismissed the plea of Congress leader Sajjan Kumar challenging a trial court order to frame charges against him in Sultanpuri area Sikh massacre 1984 case relating to the killing of six people in Sultanpuri area here.
New Delhi, India (May 25, 2013): It is learnt that the Delhi High Court on May 24, 2013 reserved its verdict on Indian politician Sajjan Kumar's plea challenging a trial court's order to frame charges against him in Sultanpuri Massacre case 1984. Sultanpuri Massacre was part of wider plan of Sikh genocide 1984, and the case against Sajjan Kumar relates to the killing of six people in Sultanpuri area in Delhi.
