Former police cat turned cop Gurmeet Pinky has moved a complaint to the Chandigarh Police against former Punjab DGP and Chairman of the Police Housing Corporation, Punjab, Sumedh Saini and Amandeep Kumar, aka Skoda, allegeing that he paid Rs 50 lakh to them for getting himself reinstated in the Punjab Police.

Jalandhar, Punjab: Media reports say Harminder Singh Mintoo (47), who was arrested few days back from Delhi Airport by the Punjab police, has been shifted from Jalandhar to Chandigarh for further interrogation.

Election Commission of India (ECI) Thursday (on April 03) cleared the appointment Punjab IPS officer Suresh Arora as Director General of Police Punjab in place of Sumedh Saini, who had sent his request for grant of leave from April 4 to May 20.
