AISSF today led a candle light march in Jalandhur, Punjab to mark World Human Rights Day and took the opportunity to lambast India’s appalling human rights record. Prominent award-winning human rights activist from Kashmir Mr Parvez Imroz will address the Dal Khalsa function being organized on 66th World Human Rights Day at Amritsar on Dec 10.
In a bid to revive the dying hopes for justice, the Dal Khalsa has decided to organize assembly of family members whose near and dear ones were disappeared in police custody or killed in fake encounter by security forces during the heydays of armed struggle in Punjab.
Commemorating 66th World Human Rights day, the Dal Khalsa will hold a rally and march against forced disappearances, fake encounters, illegal detentions and inhuman torture in Punjab since 1984.
