Upcoming Seminar in California – “1984: Sikh Genocide, Darbar Sahib and Human Rights in South East Asia”

Milpitas, CA, USA: Sikhs in Milpitas (California) will be remembering Ghallughara June 1984 by holding a seminar on topic “1984: Sikh Genocide, Darbar Sahib and Human Rights in South East Asia” on Sunday (June 3). The event will be held at Gurdwara Singh Sabha, 650 East Calaveras Blvd. Milpitas from 12:30 PM to 3:00 PM.

Dr. Cynthia Mahmood will share her views on topic “Attack on Darbar Sahib”. Puneet Kaur Khalsa will speak on “Sikh genocide” and Dr. Iqtidar Karamat Cheema will share his views on “Human Rights in South Asia”.

Notably, the Sikh panth remembers Indian Army’s attack on Darbar Sahib (Amritsar) and other Sikh Gurdwara Sahibs in Punjab and adjoining states in June 1984 as Ghallughara June 1984.
