With US Indictment Indian Government Caught Red-Handed: Sikh Federation UK

London, England: Sikh Federation (UK) has responded to the US Justice Department unsealing the indictment against Indian national Nikhil Gupta for plotting to assassinate a US Sikh activist that was directed by an Indian government employee.
In a written statement sent to the Sikh Siyasat News (SSN), Dabinderjit Singh, the Principal Adviser of the Sikh Federation (UK) said: “The direct involvement of the Indian government in the assassination plot earlier this year on US soil has been exposed by the US Justice Department by unsealing the indictment.”

“There is also direct reference in the indictment to the killing of Canadian Sikh leader, Hardeep Singh Nijjar on Canadian soil and reference to many other (Sikh) targets. The decision by the US administration has been taken as the Indian government has been caught red-handed”, he added.
“The Indian authorities have failed to co-operate with the US and Canadian investigations or take any action against Indian officials directing the assassinations from India”, he said.
