Amritsar, Punjab (November 25, 2012): The Dal Khalsa has taken serious note of the hooliganism shown by the followers of "self proclaimed" godman Gurmeet Ram Rahim against the Sikhs in the town of Sirsa. The organization on Sunday slammed the Congress governments for its patronization to the head of the Sirsa cult.
Sirsa/Mansa, Haryana/Punjab (November 24, 2012): According to various media sources curfew was imposed in Sirsa town of Haryana on November 24, 2012 after incidents of arson during a clash between Sikhs and followers of Dera Sauda Sirsa (DSS).
Vancouver, BC (November 22, 2012): In Ludhiana, Punjab a special Terrorist and Disruptive Activities (Prevention) Act (TADA) court sentenced 12 Sikhs to a ten year imprisonment for a bank robbery case. This case has been running for the past 25 years and though TADA expired in 1995, since the case was initiated under this Act it was used in order to carry out the sentence.

Ludhiana, Punjab (November 21, 2012): Dr. Assa Singh, aged 93, could barely walk without support of some other person. He stood on trial of a 1987 bank robbery case for more than 25 years. Police had accused him for handling money allegedly robbed by Sikh militants from a Ludhiana branch of Punjab National Bank on February 12, 1987.
Ludhiana/Pune (November 21, 2012): A day after Indian State opposed UN resolution against abolition of death penalty, India has carried the execution of Ajmal Kasab a death row convict in 2008 Mumbai attacks. This execution has breached the de facto moratorium on death penalty observed in India after the execution of Dhananjay Chaterjee in 2004.

Ludhiana/Punjab (November 20, 2012): According to information available with Sikh Siyasat News (SSN) a TADA designated court of Sunil Kumar Arora, Additional Sessions Judge (Ludhaina) has sentenced 12 Sikhs to undergo ten years imprisonment in a bank robbery case under Terrorist and Disruptive Activities (Prevention) Act. It took more than 25 years for the trial to conclude in this case.

Sirsa/Haryana (November 20, 2012): A day after an incident of attack by Dera Sauda Sirsa (DSS) followers on Sikhs near Jiwan Nagar (Sirsa) on November 18, 2012; in which two Sikhs were injured, the Sikhs are reported to have organized a meeting at Gurdwara Dasam Patshahi on November 18, 2012 and gave an ultimatum to the police administration to arrest those behind the attack.
Chandigarh/Punjab (November 19, 2012): It is learnt that a local court at Fatehgarh Sahib, Punjab has listened to complainants arguments against Hindi film actor-cum-producer Ajay Devgn regarding a complained filed under sections 295A, 500/501 of Indian Penal Code. The court has reserved it’s decision for December 01, 2012.
Sirsa, Haryana, India (November 19, 2012): According to media reports Dera Sauda Sirsa (DSS) men chased five Sikhs, who were travelling in a car, and attacked them near Jeevan Nagar. [...] “The feud over showing black flags to the Dera Sacha Sauda chief two days ago has turned uglier with some dera followers attacking five persons returning to their village. Over 1,000 supporters of the dera later blocked the National Highway 10 at Sirsa in protest against the registration of criminal cases after the attack”.
