New Delhi, India (April 20, 2013): As per information a delegation of Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee (SGPC) has approached to Pranab Mukherjee, President of India, urging him to grant pardon to Sikh political prisoner Prof. Devinder Pal Singh Bhullar, whose execution was cleared by Pratibha Patil, then President of India in 2011.

Pleasanton, California (April 20, 2013): On April 15 and 16, 2013, a coalition of U.S.-based organizations wrote to the Tom Lantos Human Rights Commission, U.S. Department of State, and U.S. Commission on International Religious Freedom, urging them to call on the Government of India to halt the imminent execution of Devinder Pal Singh Bhullar.
