Shopian, Kashmir (September 13, 2013): According a news by Kashmir Media Service: "[o]n occupied Kashmir, the All Parties Sikh Coordination Committee (JKSCC) has said that the damage to some houses of minority community in Shopian was done to divert the attention from the death of four civilians".
Mumbai, India (September 13, 2013): According to certain media reports the Akal Takht Jathedar Giani Gurbachan Singh has taken notice of naming of the upcoming bollywood movie as “Singh Sahib”, because as per Sikh tradition the term is used for Jathedars of the Sikh Takhts.
New Delhi, India (September 13, 2013): It is learnt that all four men convicted of raping and murdering a 23-year-old woman in New Delhi were sentenced to death on September 13, 2013 by the fast track trial court.

Hoshiarpur, Punjab (September 12, 2013): The Dal Khalsa's youth wing 'Sikh Youth of Punjab' (SYP) has endorsed the observation made by the former director general of police (prisons) Shashi Kant that the drug racket in Punjab is not short of a “systematic genocide” by drug smugglers and their “protectors sitting in the government at all levels”.
