Hoshiarpur, Punjab (November 24, 2013): Dal Khalsa head Bhai Harcharan Jeet Singh Dhami stressed on unity amongst Sikhs and called upon leaders of the community to be sensitive towards the Sikh situation and avoid controversial issues that have a potential of creating bad blood within the community.

Sikh prisoners not released even after serving full terms; Haryana Sikh on hunger-strike since Nov. 14

Ajitgarh/ Chandigarh (November 24, 2013): It is learnt that a Kurukshetra (Haryana) based Sikh Bhai Gurbax Singh has been on hunger strike since November 14, 2013. He is seeking release of Sikh prisoners who were not being released by the respective governments despite the fact that they have served the full terms of their sentences.
