A tragic, saddening and outrageous incident was today reported from Jodhpur village near Tarn Taran where a Saroop of Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji burnt by some miscreants.
The Punjab and Haryana High Court today asked authorities to cremate dead body of Ashutosh in 15 days. Ashutosh a controversial godman and former chief of Noormehal based Divya Jyoti Jagriti Sansthan had died on January 29, 2014 however the dera management declared that Ashutosh was in Samadhi (deep meditation) and his body was kept in freezers in side the dera.

Media reports say that at least 13 Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) personnel got killed by Naxals/ Maoists in Chaattisgarh’s Sukma district. According to reports, a large number of heavily armed Naxal rebels laid a trap in Chintagufa area of Sukma district where an ‘anti-Naxal operation’ was on since last ten days. It has been learnt that the rebels attacked CRPF's 223 battalion which resulted in the death of its 13 troopers.

A criminal complaint has been filed in a court in Amritsar against Hindutva propagandist and Bhartiya Janta Party (BJP) leader Navjot Sidhu for distorting Gurbani Shabad to please his Hindutva masters. The complaint reportedly moved against Navjot Sidhu last week seeks registration of a criminal case against former Amritsar MP for hurting religious sentiments by distorting the Gurbani.
In a setback for Gurmeet Ram Rahim - a controversial godman and chief of Dera Sauda Sirsa, the special CBI court in Panchkula on Saturday (Nov. 29) issued non-bailable warrants against one of the defence witnesses in sexual abuse case registered against dera Sauda chief.
