Akal Takhat Jathedar want Nanak Shah Fakir film be banned

Akal Takht Jathedar Giani Gurbachan Singh has supported the SGPC’s demand for a ban on the movie “Nanak Shah Fakir” stating that it should not be released. He also objected to Harinder Sikka, producer of Nanak Shah Fakir film, using his name for the promotion of the controversial movie.

Another Sikh youth body called ‘Neelian Faujan’ today approached Akal Takht Sahib Jathedar Giani Gurbachan Singh against ‘Nanak Shah Fakir’ film. The representatives of Neelian Faujan urged Giani Gurbachan Singh to ensure that Nanak Shah Fakir film is not released.
