Senior lawyer and Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader HS Phoolka has reportedly resigned from all posts of the party. Phoolka has said that he was not able give time to party due to his engagements in cases related to November 1984 Sikh massacre.
Leaders of Dal Khalsa and Akali Dal Panch Pardhani today strongly condemned Patiala court order summoning Guru Granth Sahib in a land disputed case.
Sikh author S. Ajmer Singh's fourth titled "Ideological Encirclement of Sikhs after Massacres of 1984" was release back in June this year. This was his fourth book under an ongoing book series (Vihvin Sadi Di Sikh Rajniti - Sikh Politics of 20th Century).
Two pro-freedom Sikh bodies, the Dal Khalsa and the Akali Dal Panch Pardhani, recently announced to dismantle their existing structures in order to organise under one banner and common constitution to pursue their struggle for Khalistan. Leaders of both organisations signed a document of understanding at Amritsar on September 16.
A local court at Patiala is reported to have recently issued summons against Guru Granth Sahib and Gurdwara Sahib of village Maddo Majra (in Patiala district) over an alleged land dispute.
