As per information available with the Sikh Siyasat News (SSN), Panjgarain Khurd Sikh brothers Rupinder Singh and Jaswinder Singh were unconditionally released from Faridkot jail late this evening after they were discharged in Bargari beadbi case.
In an effort to shame the Indian rulers for failing not only to provide justice to Nov 1984 killings of Sikhs but also to provide a resolution to the political conflict of Punjab, the Dal Khalsa and the SAD (Panch Pardani) sought the right to self-determination as the only solution to ensure that carnages like November 1984 do not recur again. Taking a significant step, both the organizations resolved not to allow Gaini Gurbachan Singh to address the Sikh Sangat from the pious seat of Akal Takhat on Bandi Chorr Divas.
As per information available with the Sikh Siyasat News (SSN), Panjgarain Khurd Sikh brothers Rupinder Singh and Jaswinder Singh could be discharged anytime this evening. SSN sources that are in contact with the council of Rupinder Singh and Jaswinder Singh have confirmed the development.
The Sikh Youth of Punjab today organised an event in Amritsar in the memory of Sikh Genocide of 1984. As first part of the remembrance event, Sikh youth held a demonstration at Bhandari bridge in Amritsar city.

The Punjab government yesterday handed over investigation of the Faridkot (Jawahar Singh Wala and Bargari) beadbi case to the CBI. The state government, however, did not hand over the investigation of Behbal Kalan police firing to the CBI.
Voices for Freedom and other human rights groups met with the Department of State and the United States Commission on International Religious Freedom (USCIRF) to voice the concerns of the American Sikh community regarding the current situation developing in Panjab, India. Also in attendance were Sikh community leaders from around the United States.
The North American Sikhs representing around 100 Gurdwaras and Sikh organizations met to deliberate on Sikh crisis in Panjab.
