For the third consecutive year, the Office of the Pentagon Chaplain commemorated Vaisakhi with members of the military and the Sikh community on Friday (April 29).

In a written statement issued today, the Shiromani Akali Dal Amritsar (Mann) demanded registration of cases under section 295-A in relation of an incident in which ten Saroops of Guru Granth Sahib were burnt in in Gurudwara Baba Beer Singh (Naurangabad) at Bahak Fattu village near Zira.
Ridiculing Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal’s claim that the Aam Aadmi Party was winning 107 out of 117 seats in 2017 Assembly polls, PPCC chief Capt Amarinder Singh today compared the AAP with the People’s Party of Punjab (PPP), which was headed by Manpreet Badal before its merger with the Congress.
