Pakistan's Prime Minister Imran Khan has condemned the "irresponsible, unilateral and irrational behaviour" by India in the 'disputed' territory of Kashmir, with the country's top civilian and military leaderships warning New Delhi's crackdown was destabilising the region.
Indian government's Minister of Home Affairs Amit Shah today moved a Constitutional Amendment Bill to revoke Article 370 of the Indian Constitution. He also moved a bill to reorganise the state of Jammu and Kashmir and make it a Union Territory and Ladakh to be Union Territory without legislature.
The Indian Government on Monday moved a resolution in Rajya Sabha to scrap Article 370 of the Indian Constitution that gives special status to internationally disputed territory of Jammu and Kashmir, partially controlled by India and Pakistan.
