Hoshiarpur: In the wake of indictment of RSS functionary Vijay Kumar and AAP MLA Naresh Yadav in a Quran sacrilege case, the Dal Khalsa have asked for an independent and credible probe to dig out the secret links (if any) between Hindutva elements and the Aam Adami Party.
Party senior leader H S Dhami said people wants to know whether there was any collaboration between RSS & AAP at any level or the joint involvement of their men in a crime was just a coincidence.
He said there’s a strong public perception that creation of the AAP was by-product of anti-corruption movement led by Anna Hazare but controlled by Vivekananda International Foundation (VIF) led by bureaucrat Ajit Doval – presently National Security Adviser to Modi Sarkar.

Sensing a deep rooted conspiracy to put Punjab again on boil, he said the people of Punjab would have to be extra cautious as “we apprehend more trouble in the run up to the 2017 assembly elections”.
Dhami said the involvement of Hindutva elements in desecration of Quran was continuation of their anti-minority mindset and design as was evident in Malegaon, Ajmer Sharif and Samjuatha Express bombing cases.
Expressing scepticism about whether the sacrilege cases would be probed in a fair and transparent manner, Dhami asked the DGP Suresh Arora to ensure that the vested interest of the ruling party should not derail the wheels of the justice. “The police should neither go soft on ruling party’s alliance partner the RSS nor it should be unfair to Akali Dal’s political adversary-the AAP”.
On the controversy about AAP publishing the picture of Darbar Sahib on their party’s election manifesto, he said Kejriwal and his coterie has taken the Sikhs for granted. How could they use the photograph of Darbar Sahib on their election manifesto when they neither represent Sikh aspirations nor they are representative body of the Sikh Panth.
He said, by default the AAP has succeeded in establishing the impression that they were pro-Sikh party by raising voices on some issues that were emotionally dear to Sikhs. However, we believe, it’s all a facade – AAP is neither pro-Panth nor pro-Punjab. It’s just like any other pro-Indian mainstream party, said Dhami.
He said the Sikhs who were following the AAP blindly would ultimately do disservice to the community in the same manner as the Badals have done it by making the Akali party subservient to the BJP- the political arm of the Sangh Parivar.
