Bhai Dhian Singh Mand sent to Nabha Jail; Mohkam Singh & others arrested, Police raid several places

Rajpura/ Chandigarh: Bhai Dhian Singh Mand who was arrested form Shambhu barrier on the border of Punjab and Haryana earlier today was presented before a local magistrate under charges of section 107/151 of Code of Criminal Procedure. He was sent to Nabha jail under preventive detention.

According to a statement by United Akali Dal (UAD) leaders, UAD chief Bhai Mohkam Singh was also arrested with Bhai Dhian Singh Mand and he is booked under preventive detention clauses.

Meanwhile the police reportedly conducted raids at several places to arrest Shiromani Akali Dal Amritsar (Mann) and United Akali Dal (UAD) leaders.
