Faridkot Court Rejects Anticipatory Bail Plea of 3 Cops in Saka Behbal Kalan Case

Faridkot: The court of Faridkot district and sessions judge Harpal Singh today rejected anticipatory bail application of three cops today. The court had heard arguments of both sides yesterday and reserved the order for today.

S. Sukhraj Singh, son of Shaheed Krishan Bhagwan Singh told Sikh Siyasat News (SSN) over phone that the court rejected the anticipatory bail plea of three cops this evening.

It is notable that fearing arrest after the Punjab and Haryana High Court vacated stay that had restricted SIT from arresting them, the then Fazilka SP Bikramjit Singh, inspector Pardeep Singh and sub-inspector Amarjit Singh Kular had applied for anticipatory bail on January 28 after the special investigations team (SIT) probing cases of beadbi of Guru Granth Sahib and killing of two Sikhs at Behbal Kalan village on October 14, 2015 had arrested former Moga SSP Charanjit Sharma in the case on January 26.
