Sri Guru Granth Sahib World University, Fatehgarh Sahib held a special lecture to celebrate the Parkash Dihara of Bhagat Ravidas Ji. The topic of lecture was “ਭਗਤ ਰਵਿਦਾਸ ਜੀ ਦੀ ਬਾਣੀ ਦੀਆਂ ਵੱਖ-ਵੱਖ ਪੜ੍ਹਤਾਂ (Bhagat Ravidas Ji Di Bani Dian Vakh-Vakh Pardtan). In his address to university students and research scholars, Dr. Sikandar Singh (Head, Punjabi Department, Sri Guru Granth Sahib World University) put light on various aspects related to Bhagat Ravidas Ji’s life and his Bani.

In current scenarios of increasing instability and unprodictability, it is important for the Sikhs to connect with various sections and communities across the Indian subcontinent, specially with those related to Bhagat Sahiban whose Bani is enshrined in Sri Guru Granth Sahib.
