Ludhiana: The Aam Aadmi Party today organized state-wide protests and demonstration at all district headquarters in Punjab. Aam Aadmi Party state convener Sucha Singh Chhotepur participated in protest-demonstration held outside Deputy Commissioner office in Ludhaina, whereas at other places the protests were led by local party leaders.
Outraged over the killing of two young activists of their party, the AAP leaders and activists demanded dismissal of Badal-BJP government in Punjab.
In a memorandum sent to the Governor of Punjab, a copy of which is available with the Sikh Siyasat News (SSN), AAP leaders said that the situation of law and order was deteriorating in Punjab and the state was turning to be ‘goonda raaj’.
Making mention of cold blooded murder of two AAP activists in a fake encounter, the Aam Aadmi Party demanded imposition of President of India’s rule in Punjab.
The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) also demanded CBI probe into the killing it’s activists.
The memorandum sent to the Governor through Deputy commissioners says that the struggle will be intensified by the AAP if their demands are not fulfilled.
Reacting to yesterday’s protest organized by local politicans in support of cops and Badal Dal leader accused for killing Harinder Singh and Jatinder Singh, Sucha Singh Chhotepur, AAP convener said: “I am ashamed of Ludhiana local Congress and Akali leaders, as today I was reading some newspaper, who are justifying the killing of two brothers of Machiwara in Ludhiana by playing in hands of government. Does our law tells our police to kill anyone, whom they think is a criminal”.
“Friends raise your voice against badal gundaraaj….!” he added.
