Full Judgement & Sentence Order of CBI Court Against Gurmeet Ram Rahim in Ram Chander Chhatrapati Murder Case

Panchkula/Chandigarh: A CBI special court today granted imprisonment for life to Dera Sauda Sirsa (DSS)’s chief Gurmeet Ram Rahim journalist in Ram Chander Chhatrapati murder case. The sentence was announced today to Gurmeet Ram Rahim and three others who heard the sentence through video conferencing. Quartet were convicted by CBI special judge Jagdeep Singh on January 11, 2018.

The court has said that the life imprisonment sentence of Gurmeet Ram Rahim will start only after he undergoes 20 years imprisonment granted in rape case of two Sadhvis. In 2017 the Panchkula CBI court had granted Gurmeet Ram Rahim to undergo imprisonment for 10 years each in cases related to rape of two of dera Sadhvis.
