Srinagar, Kashmir (July 06, 2014): As per information the Parkash Gurpurb of Guru Hargobind Ji was celebrated with religious fervour and gaiety in the Kashmir valley yesterday.
Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah greeted the people on the occasion.
The main function was organised at Gurdwara Chevin Patshahi.
Similar functions were also organised at Baramulla, Tral, Pulwama, Jawahar Nagar, Barzulla and other places in the valley.
Muslims and Kashmiri pandits were seen greeting their Sikh brethren.
In his message, the Chief Minister said the State has rich tradition of celebrating holy occasions and festivals in amity and brotherhood.
