Panj Pyaras direct SGPC to terminate services of Jathedars involved in Dera Pardon decision

Amritsar: Panj Pyaras of Akal Takhat today adopted a Gurmata and issued directions to the Shiromani Gurdwara Prabhandk Committee (SGPC) to terminate services Giani Gurbachan Singh and other persons holding posts of Takhat Jathedars, who were involved in announcing pardon to Dera Sauda Sirsa (DSS) chief Gurmeet Ram Rahim.

Undeterred from SGPC’s decision to announce their suspension and transfer, Panj Pyaras led by Bhai Satnam Singh Khalsa, today held a meeting and announced their decision from the Akal Takhat Sahib.

As the Jathedars, who were asked to appear before Panj Pyaras, have failed to appear at Akal Takhat Sahib today, the Panj Pyaras direct SGPC to terminate services of Giani Gurbachan Singh and other Jathedars, said Panj Pyaras namely Bhai Satnam Singh Khalsa, Bhai Major Singh, Bhai Tarlok Singh, Bhai Satnam Singh and Bhai Mangal Singh while announcing their decision.
