So-called Pardon to Dera Sauda Sirsa chief

SGPC appointed acting Jathedar of Akal Takht Sahib has said he will think about acting on the SIT’s report, when it comes out.
Prakash Singh Badal and his son Sukhbir Singh Badal have reportedly said that they will appear before the SIT, probing the 2015 police firings at Behbal Kalan and Kotkapura in Faridkot.
Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar today posted a written statement on twitter. The statement was issued a day after the Special Investigation Team (SIT) of Punjab police issued summons to former Punjab CM Parkash Singh Badal, deputy CM Sukhbir Singh Badal and Akshay Kumar to join investigation in relation to a meeting of Dera Sauda Sirsa representatives and Badals at Akshay Kumar's residence to break deal of DSS and Badals to secure pardon for Dera chief.
In a statement issued yesterday (Aug. 23) the Dal Khalsa reasserted that as so-called pardon to dera sirsa head, sacrilege incident at Bargarhi and firing at Behhbal Kalan and Kotkapura was held when Punjab was under Badals rule, hence the Shriomani Akali Dal led by Badals can’t escape from the responsibilities.

In a meeting held at Patiala on September 30, 2017 the SGPC executive decided not to show records related to pardoning of Dera Sirsa chief to Justice Ranjit Singh Commission.
SGPC reportedly cut power and water supply to the house of former Takht Sri Damdama Sahib jathedar Giani Gurmukh Singh on Sunday and his family has also been asked to vacate the house.
