Sikh Jatha Malwa organized a series of Gurmat Samagams from June 1 to 9, 2025, to mark the 41st anniversary of the June 1984 Ghallughara. During one such Samagam held at Kapial village near Bhawanigarh in Sangrur district, Punjab, Bhai Malkeet Singh Bhawanigarh shared the Sikh perspective on how to remember tragedies and atrocities — not just with grief, but with purpose — turning wounds into beacons of light.
