SAD (Badal) Releases Video Footage of Alleged Poll-Rigging in MC Elections in Patiala

Patiala: In order to support its allegations against the ruling Congress government for adopting malpractices during local bodies’ election in Punjab, the opposition Shiromani Akali Dal (Badal) on Monday released a video footage of alleged poll rigging and bogus voting during the Municipal Corporation elections in Patiala.
The CD was sought under the RTI from the Deputy Commissioner in Patiala.
Senior leader Surjit Singh Rakhra said that they would gherao the Vidhan Sabha tomorrow over the issue.
SAD (Badal) maintains that the video shows that people from outside the wards casted fake votes during MC polls in Patiala.
